Potomac Chocolate Events This Weekend
There are a few events coming up this weekend for Potomac Chocolate.
The first event is at Ellwood Thompson’s in Richmond, VA. I’ll be there handing out chocolate samples this Friday (2/6/15) from 3-6 p.m. I’ll be sampling all 4 of my pure 70% bars, as well as my Upala 70% with Nibs bar.
Next is ‘A Taste of Wine & Chocolate’ at Ingleside Vineyards in Oak Grove, VA, on Saturday 2/7/15 from 3-5 p.m. Ingleside holds this event annually just before Valentines Day. From their website:
Discover the flavors of wine & chocolate pairings this Valentine’s Day season as you indulge in the finest Ingleside wines with an elegant & educational chocolate experience. $45/person. Reservations are required for this event. (Snowdate: February 14)
To make a reservation, call 804.224.8687. My understanding is that there are only 10 seats left at the time I’m writing this, so call soon if you’d like to attend!
The last event is in Darien, Connecticut, and is one I just stumbled across online. I’m not involved with it and won’t be there, but it looks like a really fun event. It’s a tasting of single origin chocolate bars including my Upala 70% bar and Ritual’s Maranon, among several others. The tasting will be held at Olivette and will be led by Analiese Paik of the Fairfield Green Food Guide. It’s $25 and reservations can be made online at this page.
